1. ALMOND

Almond eyes are identified by their elongated shape, which resembles almonds, with one or both sides having a slight point to them.

They are longer in width and can have a slightly upturned outer corner. If part of your iris is hidden when you look directly in the mirror, you have almond-shaped eyes.

Did you know almond-shaped eyes are the most versatile when trying out different lash styles? That's right! With this eye shape, you can pretty much pull off any lash style. So, if you have almond eyes, consider yourself lucky!

2. HOODED

Hooded eyes feature a natural crease that makes your eyelids less easily visible. If you have a harder time seeing your eyelid, you most likely have hooded eyes.

The heavier lid creates the illusion of a smaller crease, leaving less room for makeup looks and lashes.

For those with hooded eyes, we recommended choosing a lash style with a denser base. This way, it combats the lid that tends to cover lighter lashes. Your lashes can be seen and admired this way!

3. DEEPSET

Deepset eyes are larger and deeper set into the eye socket, creating the illusion of a more prominent brow bone and eyelid.

Because the eyes sit further back in the socket, you want to make sure that the lashes have enough volume to be seen but not too much to where they touch your brows.

 A wispy or medium-density lash will look best on the deep-set eye shape.

4. MONOLID

Monolid eyes have no crease and appear to have a flatter overall eyelid surface. 

The eye doesn’t sit as far back as other eye shapes, so the brow is less prominent. 

More dramatic lashes look best on monoids because they give the eye some dimension without overpowering its appearance.

5. DOWNTURNED

Downturned eyes have a natural downward slant towards the outer corner of the eye. They typically have a more rounded shape on the bottom lid. 

We recommend keeping the attention on the eyes higher.

The outer corners are downturned, so you want to ensure the lashes have a round shape to give the illusion of a lift.

6. PROMINENT

Prominent eyes have a larger and more defined eye shape. This eye shape can give the look of a projected lid because it sits more on the outside of the eye socket area.

You are in luck if you love wearing eyeshadow or a full lash! This eye shape is perfect for showing off a glam makeup look and can pull off a dramatic lash. The size and shape of the eye create a shelf for your lashes to sit on. Prominent eyes will make any lash very visible on the lid. Therefore, we recommend a structured lash with light to medium density.
