A Founder’s Problem That Sparked Innovation
Before House of Lashes was known for award-winning glue, our founder was just a lash lover frustrated by the lack of latex-free lash glue options on the market. As someone with a latex allergy, she struggled to find a lash glue that wasn’t messy, irritating, or full of harsh ingredients. After trying countless formulas, she realized the U.S. market was missing something important.
During her travels through Korea and Japan, she discovered how advanced and thoughtful Asian beauty products were—especially when it came to lash glues. Inspired by what she saw, she returned home determined to create something better. Four years (and a whole lot of testing) later, she launched the first brush-on, latex-free lash glue in the U.S.!
